On the way to Colorado we were lucky enough to see some bison at a farm. What a treat to see those amazing animals! A few miles later on in our journey we got even luckier - a wild bison just happened to cross the road in front of us! In Boulder we stayed with Jenny's friends Emily and Nataraj and her sweet daughter Anjali. We had a warm welcome to their home and spent a lovely time with them. Boulder has a good number of microbreweries. We sampled a few beers at the Avery Brewery and joined an interesting tour through their facilities. Another highlight for me was the hike in beautiful nature at the Rocky Mountains National Park. Before we left the park we saw a huge herd of elks enjoying the last sunbeams of the day!
